Los Pinos Restaurant in Jackson

Quesadilla was good. Salsa that comes with it was a little sweet for my liking. Place had a weird smell (basementy) (if that's a word), so I ate outside. In a hurry was a decent option.

Awful service, food was good but 40 minutes to order and get our drinks and another 20 minutes to get our water. Waiter straight told us to wait while she cleaned the house and another woman just flat ignored our request. I had to go to the pizza place next door to buy water while I waited. Got both my drink order and food order wrong. I actually had to eat my food in the car because the others at the table weren't going to wait 20 minutes for my order to come back. This was our second chance here (first thinking it was just a fluke) but what kind of backwards establishment makes patrons actually have to chase employees to order or get the check?

A very lovely little restaurant with delicious food, and courteous staff. I ordered the shrimp burrito. It was delicious. Their guacamole is awesome.

Friendly staff. It's a good option to stop by after a tired day at 6 flags. Food inside the amusement park is bad and very expensive. It's better to come out and have food. Even though there are not much of options outside this is a good one to have. Less options for veggie. We had a cheese quasidilla and is was ok. I think there are more options for meat ..

The place looks dark from inside and seems for the first while as oooh no not so clean...but the staff was so friendly and the food was good with good portions clean tastes good price was great $66 for 6 people . And we were full.

Very good authentic Mexican food at a good price. I've been here several times for lunch. It's a homely environment, very small but I prefer that. A good place if you're visiting Six Flags right down the road and don't want to pay their insane prices for food in the park.

Great service and flavorful food! My family cleaned the plates! Food brought to the car, it was so appreciated because it was 93 degrees. We stopped here before going to the Six Flags safari and were amazingly surprised.

Nice little place with good food and fast service

The food was excellent but the wait was ridiculous. We were a party of 4 and arrived at 6PM. The only waitress took our order at 6:24PM and our food was not served until 7:28PM! And we're just talking burritos and tacos here, nothing complicated. There were 4 other patrons, 3 had already had their food so I can't imagine why it took so long. I had read the same complaint in the reviews so I bought a bottle of wine to keep the edge off. They did serve homemade tortillas with a delicious salsa, and refilled it during the wait. Everything we ordered was exceptionally good including the flan and cheesecake desserts. If you don't mind the wait, the food is definitely worth it.

The food was fantastic and the salsa was delicious. Prices were reasonable and service was fast. Decor and lighting was strange like a nightclub but it wasn't enough to detract from the excellent food. The horchata is a must try!

This place is very authentic Mexican food but that's not my preference. There is 1 lady serving everyone in the restaurant so placing and receiving orders takes a while. The fajita meat comes out very dry even though it's sizzling. And the tortillas have no taste at all. The only thing I like on the menu is the frozen lemonade. It's also conveniently located outside of Six Flags on the way home.

We chose to eat here because we were looking for Mexican food in Jackson. There was a good amount of customers but it wasn’t packed and uncomfortable. The food took almost an hour to come out, but luckily it was delicious. There were good options on the menu, definitely something for everyone, and they were accommodating to us who wanted to make substitutions. The waitress was kind and she was really running the whole front of the restaurant by herself, she was great. The prices I found online before arriving did not reflect the current menu, but it was still standard prices for Mexican food in the area. Overall it was a good choice if you’re looking for good Mexican food!

Beautiful space. My last visit is very awesome. Me and my hubby really enjoy our dinner. Thank you guys to make our night special for us!

They were terrible. Besides the food being some of the worst "authentic" mexican I have ever had, the prices on the menu were different from what I was charged. When I asked the woman why I wasn't being charged the posted prices she says the menu is 3 years old and online prices are what are real. I asked why it says take menu , call and order but never mentions online, she says sorry and closes and locks the door. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible people, terrible business, terrible customer service, just terrible all the way around. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Very quaint place. We saw a sign for ribs on our way out of Six Flags so pulled in the strip mall but was not open so we opted for Mexican food. No alcohol is served in the restaurant. I had a can of ginger ale. We ordered the tacos one of each. Beef, chicken and pork. All very good and well presented. The downfall was a long wait for food to come to the table. One customer was waiting over 15 minutes for takeout when he ordered ahead. All in all was good.

We have been going to this restaurant for years, especially after every visit to Great Adventure. We have always had a great time with some of the friendliest service with a great cozy atmosphere. The food is always good, and their chips and salsa are to die for. I always order the steak burrito and the quality is good and consistent. Since it is a smaller place the waits aren’t ever too long. Great place and definitely one I would recommend.

Decided to go in after dropping kids off at Great Adventure. Walked right in and was greeted quickly. Food was great Tacos Al carbon were delicious, Burrito with the spicy chicken was also delicious. Not sure if the place is attempting to have that hole in the wall vibe but they are nailing it as well as the delicious food.

This place is amazing!! We have only been able to get takeout but before quarantine we were there every Friday! Their salsa is amazing as well as their burritos!

Empty restaurant. Waited 12 minutes to place drink order while seemingly all employees congregated at a booth directly behind us oblivious to our presence. And it’s the first Mexicans restaurant I’ve ever visited that didn’t serve chips and salsa on arrival. Truly disappointing. Never ordered. Never ate.

Good food. Service on the other hand was terrible. We had to flag down our server on multiple occations, in which we either were ignored, told to wait while they did something else, or on the odd chance they did show up, we had to wait a large amount time to get something as simple as a glass of water.

They make delicious food! The only downside is the wait time as it takes close to half an hour for the food to arrive. Nevertheless it's worth it.

The tacos are absolutely delicious! My brother-in-law, an extremely picky eater who only likes his mom's cooking, devoured his meal. I'm looking forward to going back?

Amazing pizza pie. Tasty crust good quality ingredients and not to mention friendly staff. Price is in line with quality of food. Car park is in front of the restaurant. Facilities were clean.

Pretty decent, fast but not much flavor. I had to add some salt, salsa tapatia and lemon juice then it was great. The service is great, they were very nice and courteous.

The food is delicious.Since is a family owned restaurant the waiting time on the food is a little long but worth it cuz the food is amazing.The waitress really friendly.

Best Mexican around! Hidden gem!

Holy moly, this is delicious food. Perfect guacamole. I ordered substitutions and specified zero spice for my young kids and they got everything right. Also outdoor tables suitable for pandemic conditions.

Took way too long for food and the serving size was a lot smaller than expected. Furthermore there is only one lady takinf orders and serving every one so it taks a while to get her attention.
